I’m also a realist. With me, what you see is what you get, and what you’ll get is a high dose of positive energy. I like to move fast, because I am eager to get great results.
I remember my parents telling me that I could grow up to be whatever I wanted to if I believed in myself. It was great advice.
Before starting C2C, I spent 25 years with a Fortune 500 company in a wide variety of roles, including working overseas. My titles eventually included VP of Real Estate, VP of Corporate Development and VP of Sustainability for the U.S.
In every one of my roles, my favorite part was working with my team to truly get to know them, their talents and passions, and helping them grow and develop into great leaders.
As someone who has hired a ton of people, I know what it takes to “get” the job. I also have learned that the best predictor for success is to ensure that the role is a great fit for that candidate and leverages equally their skills, talents and interests.
So when a corporate restructuring presented me with the opportunity for a change, I leaned into something that had been living deep in my soul all along: a desire to help college grads and young professionals launch their careers. And that is how C2C was born.
